Has hundreds of feet of pressurized active water lines subject to leaks,ground movement and future financial burden.Year round exposure to the elementsunless covered. Requires backflushing which wastes thousand of gallons of water yearly along with flushing harmful chemicals into the environment- uses over 80% more energy than the Desjoyaux system and only circulates 30-40 gallons of water per minute if pumbing is done correctly. Requires sand to be removed and replaced periodically. Why would you want this energy hog in your yard??
TYPICAL STEEL WALL STRUCTURE used by many pool dealers: these structures will rust over time but the biggest downfall is their integrity- backfill behind the wall is usually dirt from the pool which cannot be compacted properly. Most installers run water over the dirt and let it settle for a few days, or less by others. This simply doesnt work!! Over time ,the dirt will continue to settle causing premature failure of the surrounding concrete deck , liner pulling,coping shifting ,huge cracks and various other problems .
